Reading response
I personally agree with the reading and the video I recently watched. In the readings, they explained the issue about people who are intelligent but cannot multiply 8 times 2. They also emphasized on the fact that we may be intelligent and not remember any of the math concepts we learned in school. I agree with this because I consider myself to be quite intelligent in certain areas, but I am horrible at math. This explains the whole concept of how much power we put into the definition of intelligence. I believe that math test or any subject that we found difficult do not define how smart we are. Just because we may not excel in a certain subject doesn't measure are intelligence capacity because people can still succeed in life. This reading also reminded me over a story about a kid who had a learning disorder and could even tell time on a clock but he graduate from college and got a masters degree. So are disadvantages do not determine how smart we are but are dedication does.

In the video the guy explained multiple intelligence. He came up with a theory that there is more than one form of intelligence. I agree with this because you might lack intelligence in one area but excel in another. So as I stated before measuring intelligence can be a hard task because there are a lot of variables that along with measuring it.
